Among the deluge of pilgrims arriving for World Youth Day has been a small group of students, with their teachers, from a high school in Lviv, Ukraine. These have not come to take part in the ‘largest Roman Catholic event of the year’, rather to recharge batteries and “try and to forget the problems” back home for a little while.
