Lisbon parking company announces shake-up at warden department

Days after a driver suffered three broken teeth and a broken nose in a ‘discussion’ with Lisbon parking wardens, parent company EMEL has announced a ‘new philosophy’ for its warden department which promises “a transformation in processes and in the approach to citizens”. According to reports, the company will be unveiling a “completely renewed Parking Operation Direction team” (one that ‘provides a public, educational and quality service in favour of better mobility solutions…’)
